Victor Hayek

Dr. Victor Hayek is the Deputy Superintendent for the Conejo Valley Unified School District. He oversees all District finance and operations for 18,000+ students and 2,200 staff across 27 schools. Prior to Conejo Valley, Dr. Hayek relocated from New Jersey where he served as Superintendent of Schools for two high performing school districts. Victor served his community as a Police Officer and was subsequently elected to the local Board of Education where he also served as president. He taught college courses for 11 years, focusing on business management, operations, and finance. Victor holds a Doctorate from Seton Hall University and a MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Business Management, both from William Paterson University. He recently authored his first book, Outclass: How to Ace the Lessons of Life and Graduate with Honors.


Jason Love

One of today’s hardest-working comedians, Jason Love has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, America’s Got Talent, and Dry Bar Comedy. His funny stories and guitar bits make him a favorite for corporate events around the country. Says L.A. Weekly, “Jason Love is comedy that brings people together.” Jason has performed at clubs from the Laugh Factory in Hollywood to Caroline’s on Broadway. He performs overseas for the troops and on the seas for cruise lines. His clips are played daily on Sirius XM. Jason’s non-profit, Love & Laughter, brings free shows to the cancer support community.


Dr. Sharon Norling

Dr. Sharon Norling practiced several years in Westlake Village. She is a nationally known and highly respected medical doctor specializing in integrative and advanced functional medicine in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Dr. Norling graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and has trained at USC and UCLA. She received her MBA from St. Thomas University. Dr. Norling's expertise is based on her years of clinical experience, being an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Department of OB/GYN, and her own personal research. She is national board-certified in OB/GYN, Integrative Medicine and Medical Acupuncture. Hormonal and neurotransmitter balancing are one of her specialties. She is the author of Your Doctor is Wrong and a contributing author to the textbook Integrative Functional and Medical Nutrition Therapy published this year. Dr. Norling is an international speaker. As a presenter, she is engaging, articulate, humorous, and insightful, making learning a dynamic professional and personal growth experience. Just a little FYI from Dr. Norling... I was a Rotarian for over 20 years in the Westlake Sunrise Rotary Club. I was the 2nd woman in Rotary in California and the first woman in our Rotary Club. I served a President of the club twice….. I guess I didn’t get it right the first time! I also had the opportunity to speak at 2 PETS conferences. My son was a Rotary exchange student to Germany and the youngest president of his club in California at 28 years old. My niece attended RYLA.


District Governor Visit - Deborah Linden

Deborah Linden is a native Californian, raised in Sunnyvale. She began her law enforcement career with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff at the age of 22. During her 18-year tenure at the Sheriff’s Department, Deb served in a variety of assignments including patrol, narcotics detective, major crimers investigations, sergeant, lieutenant, and commander. She was hired by the City of San Luis Obispo as Chief of Police on January 1, 2003 and retired from law enforcement in December 2011 after serving nine years as police chief. Deb is now an instructor and training coordinator for various organizations, including the California Police Chiefs Association and the Centre for Organization Effectiveness. Deb holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from U.C. Santa Barbara and a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. Deb joined the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo in 2003. She has served as a Club President, District Conference Coordinator, Assistant Governor, and District Chief Operating Officer before being selected to serve as District 5240 Governor for 2020-2021. She has been married to her wonderful husband Bill for 24 years and they enjoy two adult sons, Trevor and Craig, five year old grandson Koby, and a 2 year old Boxer named Kona.
